Terms of Use

This User Agreement is an agreement between you and the ACID Group, respecting your use and download of its dataset and other intellectual contents. Please read the ACID Terms of Use and copyrights carefully. Use and download the ACID datasets only if you agree with all the terms and agreements.

1. Please cite the ACID research paper if you use the ACID datasets in your research or project as following: 
Xiao, B., & Kang, S. C. (2021). Development of an image data set of construction machines for deep learning object detection. Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering, 35(2), 05020005.

2. Only use the ACID dataset suite for academic and research purposes. No commercial usage is allowed. You may not redistribute, share, or publish the ACID datasets or other intellectual contents, in whole or in part, without express written permission from ACID group. This includes posting the dataset or any portion of it on public websites, forums, or repositories.

3. Do not share or broadcast the intellectual contents of the ACID dataset suite without our permission, including but not limited to sharing any information of the original or modified data from ACID to other individuals or organizations.

4. ACID collects information that identifies you, including your name, contact information, and research information. ACID protects and respects your privacy. ACID will not use your name and contact information without your consent. Other information may be used for research purposes.

5. When permitted by law, ACID will not be responsible for any liability for the result or consequence of using the dataset, including but not limited to any loss or damage by the use of dataset or by the products that are developed through the dataset.

6. ACID group reserves the right to terminate your access to the ACID dataset suite at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the dataset and destroy any copies in your possession.
